A place very frequented in El Salvador by national and international tourists, for three main reasons for its cool climate, green areas and spectacular views to different points of San Salvador (the capital), the east and the beaches that border the country. In this same area you will find La Puerta del Diablo, Balboa Park, the Family Park and the Casa del Escritor (former home of the famous Salvadoran artist Salarrué).

This place is located in the municipality of Panchimalco 20 minutes from the capital, there are many bus routes that can take you, as of course you can do it by car. The first experience I had when arriving was to climb the famous rocks of the Devil's Gate, it is not to climb, of course, these rocks are full of steps and paths so any person who is not an expert in climbing can do it, so If you like a bit of extreme this activity you will like. This has the extreme factor since you climb a cliff, but it has tiers and that makes it accessible, you can go at your own pace, there are many stops you can make and look at the beautiful panoramic view.

When you reach the top you can appreciate the beautiful sky, the city, beaches is beautiful to see it takes your breath away and I have always said that it can be a good idea for a romantic date ;), of course! If you like nature.

Other things that you find in Panchimalco are many places of typical Salvadoran food, like traditional snack, one of those that being Salvadoran had never tasted (shame on me) was the almond atol, very delicious indeed. It is a good place that you can enjoy in the company you will find crafts, the important thing is to enjoy it.

Recommendations:

- In the areas of tourist services there are restrooms that charge $ 0.25, but I recommend that you go to the restrooms of the restaurants.

- Wear comfortable shoes.

- Water to hydrate you.

- And avoid wearing flashy accessories.
